What to bring and what to wear

A short checklist for your first class: clothes, socks, water, and when to arrive.

A woman in a beige top and leggings sits on a white floor with her knees drawn up and her arms resting on them.

You need very little for a class. This checklist covers the things people ask about most often.

Clothes

Wear fitted clothes you can move in, such as leggings or shorts and a top that stays in place when you lie down or roll. A loose top can slide over your face in some reformer exercises. Leave zips and buckles at home: they can catch on the equipment or mark the pads.

Socks

Grip socks have rubber pads on the sole. They stop your feet slipping on the reformer and on the floor.

Water and a towel

Bring a water bottle with a lid. A small towel is useful in Strength and Reformer Flow, which have fewer pauses.

Arriving

Arrive a few minutes before the start, so you have time to set up. Bookings close when the class starts, so book in the member app beforehand.

If you need to cancel

Cancel in the member app up to 12 hours before the class to get your class credit back. A later cancellation does not return the credit.
